INTRODUCTION
Since I began practicing
yoga over 25 years ago, it has been my dream to offer the
gifts of yoga to children in public schools. Now more than
ever, our children need the deep and lasting mind / body
benefits that yoga provides. Now, through Yoga ED.,
we realize that dream with a comprehensive, school-site
proven program that is both accessible and effective.
Id like to thank
Kevin Sved and Johnathan Williams at The Accelerated School
for their support of the program. Their vision and leadership
has been and integral part of making Yoga ED. a success.
Please enjoy the Yoga ED. site and we look forward
to your comments and stories about yoga in your school!

"I think that this
is an amazing program for physical exercise and introspection.
I have used some of the ideas from yoga class in my classroom.I
ask them to stop between activities, to slow down and take
a deep breath. It helps us to have a calm classroom."

2nd grade Teacher
