| You qualify for the Yoga Ed. Teacher Training, if you: |

- Have completed a yoga teacher training or equivalent*
- Are a physical education, dance or other movement teacher who also practices yoga proficiently
- Are a certified yoga teacher who wants to teach yoga education in schools
* Equivalent means that you have many years experience in yoga as well as a higher education degree or expertise in a related field of study such as dance, martial arts, physical education, etc. |

Yoga Ed. Instructor Training:
Yoga Ed. Instructor Training certifies you to teach the Yoga Ed. Curriculums to students and the Yoga Tools for Teachers to classroom teachers. Yoga Ed. combines traditional yoga-based themes, exercises and methods with imaginative play, art activities, reflection, journaling, and cross-curriculum subject integration.
Goals:
- Confidence in implementing Yoga Ed. Programs in schools
- Ability to adapt lesson plans for fun and effective yoga classes
- Understanding of how to present yoga for specific developmental stages
- Mastery in teaching children to focus, concentrate and relax
- Knowledge in engaging students through play and physical challenges
- Ability to teach Yoga Tools to Teachers to teachers
- Leadership in Integration of yoga into the school culture

Practice Teaching:
This Instructor training shows you how to design and execute meaningful and fun lesson plans. In addition to lecture, demonstration and dynamic discussion by experts, you will have the opportunity to practice teach. These practice sessions provide valuable information and feedback for everyone on integration of a theme, structure, flow, timing, safety, behavior management and relatedness. They also offer the potential for true transformation of your self as a teacher. When you have the freedom to share yourself more fully and embrace what happens in your classes as the material for learning, you don’t just teach yoga, you share yoga as a life tool and lay the foundation for lifetime health and wellness.
